Andrea Venzon

Hey, this is Andrea!

I am 29-year old, originally from Italy and now living in London, and I am doing my best to improve our planet a bit!

You might wonder how - well, with Colombe Cahen-Salvador, my partner-in-crime, I have just launched Atlasthe global progressive social & political movement uniting people for a free and equitable future.

Atlas is the result of my work in the last two years with NOW!, a global movement aimed at uniting people all over the world to tackle the most significant challenges of our time, such as the erosion of democracy, climate change, and rising inequalities. One year in, we counted more than 10,000 people across 120 countries and we launched five global campaigns. Right before turning NOW! into Atlas, we also launched Forward, a global political campaign. We challenged what should be the most important global election: the one to become the United Nations Secretary-General! Yes, just that! Concretely, this meant that we run progressive primaries and we backed a previous head of state as a people-backed candidate to run for Secretary-General.

Before all of this, In 2017, in response to Brexit, I also co-founded a pan-European political movement, Volt Europa. When nationalism and populism were on the rise, we decided to stand for integration, cooperation, and openness. At the 2019 European elections, the movement presented candidates in seven European countries, managing to elect Damian Boeselager - one of my co-founders - a Euro-parliamentarian in Germany.

This is me in just a few words. If you want to learn more, please browse the rest of the website, and always feel free to get in touch!
